The Golf Zone's Golf Academy offers a variety of instructional programs for golfers of all abilities and ages. Academy programs go well beyond fundamentals and incorporate topics such as rules, in-swing principles, ball flight laws, equipment, course management and mental strategies.

The Golf Academy is the perfect choice to provide golfers with the techniques and skills to shoot lower scores, and get even more enjoyment from the game. At The Golf Zone, we utilize the most advanced instructional techniques and training aids, including video, coupled with the ability to watch the complete ball flight. Even during inclement weather, you can still keep your swing, and your game sharp at our HEATED and COVERED facility.

Lee Schmidthuber - PGA Member Since 1989

 Lee Schmidthuber

Lee Schmidthuber: Born in Southern Minnesota in 1961, and raised in Northern Iowa. He had
a very full and productive amateur golf career before turning professional in 1985. He became a member of the PGA in 1989. He did the first half of his apprenticeship in Florida. In 1988 he went
to work for Dick Hendrickson at Radley Run Country Club in West Chester Pa. When Dick joined the Sr. PGA Tour Lee went to work for Willie Scholl at Gulph Mills Golf Club, to this day Willie is Lee's biggest mentor. He became Director of Golf at Buck Hill Golf Club in the Poconos until 1992. He then went to work for Jack Nicklaus at Ibis Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1995 he leased a driving range in Pottstown, Pa. called Coventry Golf Range for a bit over 10 yrs. He currently works at Hershey's Mill Golf Club in West Chester, Pa. where he will continue to serve
a role. Lee has played on nearly every tour in North America. He has always been known and respected as a fine player and instructor.
