The Golf Zone's Golf Academy offers a variety of instructional programs for golfers of all abilities and ages. Academy programs go well beyond fundamentals and incorporate topics such as rules, in-swing principles, ball flight laws, equipment, course management and mental strategies.

The Golf Academy utilizes the most advanced instructional techinques and training aids - such as video - in our indoor facility, which is the perfect way to keep your swing and your game sharp year-round or in inclement weather. Or head outside to our driving range and real greens with bunkers. Either way, The Golf Academy is the perfect choice to provide golfers with the techniques and skills to shoot lower scores and get even more enjoyment from the game.

Eric MacCluen offers a wide variety of programs private one-on-one lessons, adult and junior golf programs and kids summer camps.Class programs are designed for the beginner golfer who would like to learn the game of golf, the intermediate golfer who wants to improve their game to play on the course, and the advanced golfer who is ready for tournament play. Golfers will be divided into levels based upon the student’s age, ability and skill and classes run continuously throughout most of the year.

Over the years, students in Eric MacCluen's Future Collegians Program have won hundred's of regional and national events. Eric has had more than 90 students receive college scholarships for golf. In addition, others have gone on to successful professional golf careers as College Coaches, PGA Instructors, and Tour Players. Eric was able to foster many of these student's golf careers from the very beginning. Having this experience is one of the reasons he was voted the Philadelphia Section "Teacher of the Year" in 2002, "Top 50 Teachers in America" by US Kids in 2004, 2005, and 2007 - along with many other awards over Eric's career which attribute him to the growth of the game among juniors.

Mike Thompson is a high energy golf instructor with a true love for his profession. His easily understood style translates well while instructing at all levels, from juniors and beginners to experienced players looking to hone their skills. A PGA Professional since 1970, Mike has over 30 years of teaching, junior golf, coaching, and competitive play experience.

From 1981-1983, Mike gained valuable competitive experience playing the European and Asian Golf Tours. Closer to home, many still remember Mike from his five year stint from 1994 - 1999 on Suburban Cable, hosting the weekly Practical Golf with Mike Thompson television show. Mike is recognized as one of the Top Golf Instructors in the state of Pennsylvania as voted by his peers and listed in Golf Digest. Mike is showcased in Harry Hurt's novel Chasing the Dream as "one of the best teachers on the 40+ Tour." Mike also serves as the Head Coach of the Women's Golf Team at West Chester University.

Mike is available for private and group lessons, corporate clinics, and coaching opportunities. He also provides expert club fitting services.

Rick Flagler has been a teaching professional since 2003 and has more than 20 years experience in golf as a player and student of the game. As one of the founders and Director of Golf Instruction for the In Full Swing Golf Academy he established many instructional programs to assist golfers of all levels improve their games.

Rick has also appeared on Inside Golf, one of our areas local golf television shows. Rick has had the privilege of working with some of the finest instructors in the area, as well as a highly rated U.K. instructor who is also the designer of the Explanar Training System. Rick has taught golf to people at all levels, from high and low handicappers, to professional athletes. He has enjoyed teaching many junior camps, women's clinics and developmental group programs. Rick is also an instructor for First Tee of Trenton in New Jersey. The First Tee Program is Nationally Recognized for the development of Junior's in the game of Golf and Life.

Rick's goal is to bring his experience and passion for golf to his students, so that they will
